Humberto "Duck" Reyna
South Dade High School and the community of Homestead has been blessed to have National Wrestling Hall of Fame Coach Humberto ​"Duck" Reyna at the helm of one of the greatest youth clubs in the country in Gladiator Wrestling Club. For over 20 year's Coach Reyna has been an assistant coach at South Dade High School but in 2025-2026 Coach Humberto "Duck" Reyna will be the man in charge of the winningest program in Dade County History, "The Dynasty" known as SOUTH DADE WRESTLING!

Bretli Reyna
Assistant Coach
Bretli Reyna was a 4x STATE CHAMPION, 2x NATIONAL CHAMPION and 14x High School ALL AMERICAN for South Dade. During his senior year, Bretli was awarded the Dave Shultz Excellence Award for Florida, Dairy Farmer's Mr. Wrestling and the Miami Herald's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. For his success both on the mat and in the classroom, Bretli was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Iowa.
Ozzy Lugo
Assistant Coach
Ozzy Lugo was a 3x STATE CHAMPION and 3x ALL AMERICAN for the BUCS. After an extremely successful High School career, Ozzy took his talents to Edinboro University. In 2025 Ozzy will bring his knowledge and talents back to South Dade to help the next generation of wrestlers make some history of their own.

Markel Shropshire
Assistant Coach
Markel began wrestling as a 9th grader at South Miami Senior High School. In two short years, Markel earned his way on to the STATE podium placing 4th. By his senior year, Markel was one of the most feared HWT's in the state of Florida. He capped off his senior year undefeated and won the FHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!
